I really dont understand how there are still people who are acting like ISIS, Al Queda, Hamas and all extreme Islamist members are not a threat to our citizens right here in this country. Do people not pay attention? There is so much anger in the US over issues that all seem to become political fodder and we get nowhere, actually things that almost seem non-significant when compared to the threat of extremists, terrorists. I am not saying that other things in the news are not important, but when America sees this on our own soil, remember not many thought 9/11 was possible before it happened, it will be too late to stop the terror train! So many see the extremists as a problem over there and just deny, close their eyes and dont engage their brains to see what is happening and what is happening FAST, though we knew about them for a long time and turned a blind eye. It is easy to say Well, I dont want war. But WHO DOES? It just isnt an option to not be at war with Islamist Extremists!!! We sat and waited and I will never understand why. I feel abandoned as a citizen. I dont feel protected by my government as a whole. I am scared to death for my children and grandchildren. I count on our military and our veterans to protect this country when the time comes! I feel that we are at our most vulnerable position ever, weakened by in-fighting between US citizens where years of progress appear to be going backwards. The breakdown of families, an all about me society that is growing in their lack of caring about their fellow humans and from seeing how some have reacted in a crisis, what will it be like when there is no food or water, when banks cant be accessed, when there is no food left on shelves, etc. Looting? Like we have never seen it before and man turning on man! We are a nation in debt that weakens more than our economy and there is already lawlessness on the streets in our cities and in our government adding to our vulnerability. A promise of no more wars used as an excuse to not stand up to the bad guys and the US Militarys service in warzones being cast aside as the battlegrounds are barely dry of their sacrificial blood. Look at the pictures OVER THERE. Our young will be fighting terror in our streets. Our girls will be sold. If some thought Hobby Lobby was the bad guy for womens rights, wait until terrorists take over womens lives!! Will the United States become a warzone? I believe it will if we dont act fast. If ever the words stop them dead in their tracks was appropriate, it is now. THIS IS EVIL like we have never seen. NOTHING else will matter, no problems at the VA, no fundraising, no IRS missing emails, no scores of games or who got traded, no naked celebrity, no money in the bank or global warming, no fighting racism or healthcare program, NOTHING will really matter if we dont win this battle! God is in control. But, He put people here on earth who are now in positions to do what is right, to fight evil when they see it. Cant see it with the blinders of politics on. Not the time to wimp out. Time to stand tall, fight the enemy and protect those they want to destroy. That would be us , Americans and anyone who stands in their way of turning the world into their terror town to kill, rape, destroy! I believe one day I will have to face someone who tells me to deny my faith. I wont do it. I pray for that strength daily. I pray that my children and grandchildren will stay strong and never deny their Creator. Normal to be fearful, even with a strong faith. It is human. But, without my faith I would be a mess. Instead, I express my thoughts, that helps me, and I pray, and I count my blessings, enjoy those I love and try every day to make a positive difference in someones life. In some small way, that is my why of fighting terror in the only way I know how. I wont give in.. I just pray that my government starts to act like the greatest country on earth! PS Please, no comments that are filled with hate for one side of the political spectrum or the other. I have no patience for it anymore. It is one thing to state facts, but hate gets us nowhere. We are drowning and if we dont clasp hands and come together to save each other, we are going down! No sugar-coating it.
