I really love this and wanted to make sure itd made the rounds to all my friends. For better and through worse, this body has carried me through this life. It has been bigger, it has been smaller. It walked up to receive hard earned diplomas. It walked me down an aisle towards my best friend. It has carried three pregnancies. It has produced two spectacular human beings. It has survived the loss of a baby. It has nourished two children through their early infancy. It has enjoyed the warmth of sand beneath my toes, and the joy of the wind blowing back my hair while riding swings and sailboats. It has stopped, dead in its tracks, to enjoy: sunrises, sunsets, the beauty and scent of growing roses, and the spectacular feeling of music perfectly accompanying the morning walk/commute to work (Simon & Garfunkel in NYC- try it, trust me). It has danced. And danced and danced and danced. It has played in the snow, and splashed in puddles with a joyful child. It has comforted and loved a sick puppy and sick babies. It has enjoyed ecstasy-inducing meals and moments. I will love my body. My body and I arent done. And I will be grateful for that, doing my best to take care of it so we can enjoy this journey as long as possible- and not missing out on a thing.
