I really must interrupt my facebook break to share this link and ask YOU to share it. It is VERY important that the Master of The High Court is defending those in debt despair and calling for debt forgiveness. This is and always has been the correct approach. Unless we deal with this matter in an ethical and humane way we are going to end up with Social carnage. Homelessness and Suicide have been of course known to be the result of home evictions and Debt pressure. Let is please opt for preventative measures here. Banks are able to pay lawyers, unlike the impoverished debtors, who often end up with further debt from legal bills. Lawyers should have in some way tried to call a halt to this long ago; many homes and even lives could have been saved. The ramifications of debt stress go further than most people realise. People become vulnerable to all the elements and to survive it all is a truly arduous task. Thank God for Edmund Honohan making morality the core of this issue. This is the sort of leadership we need and also the sort of thinking that is needed across the board. The big news apparently is that stones dont bleed ladies and gentlemen..!
