I really thought I would go into the neurologist today and be done wearing the neck brace (if youve worn one, you know what a pain it is with showering, sleeping, eating, etc.). I was wrong! It looks like I have at least another month because the C1 break is continuing to heal and theres too much risk if I fall or have a sudden movement for there to still be spinal cord damage. Looks like Ill just have to be okay with going a little more stir crazy at home. Theres also some fluid on my lung that wasnt there before but Ill be going to the trauma doctor to check that off the list. Thank God for good friends and family so my kids can still have a life!
