I really try not to use Facebook as a soap box, but today is just one of those days. As a person who is being impacted by yesterdays pension reform vote, I just feel betrayed. All my work life I have made decisions based upon what I thought would be best for me and my family at the time of my retirement. I have never failed to make one payment from my check into the retirement system. I have worked hard to earn the advancements that I have gotten. I earn my salary. I know it is a good salary but I earn it. I think it is almost criminal and unethical for those who sit in power to just strip me of so many of my earned benefits because THEY have not done their jobs. They didnt make those hard choices. They havent earned their salaries. I sure hope the Supreme Court will see the error in this.
