I recall very vividly the year Aaron and I gave both to Andrew - TopicsExpress

I recall very vividly the year Aaron and I gave both to Andrew Thomas. He is now 5 1/2. Andrew is our 9th child and it was the same year we were blessed with the announcement of the marriage of our first daughter. This was the same year that the new Chrysler Tipton Plant didnt open and Chrysler went through bankruptcy and a tenant at our second home moved leaving us with a wreck of a home and about $25,000 worth of repairs. Aaron was off work the entire summer due to the company bankruptcy and restructure. Our income plummeted to a low of about $53,000. I had just obtained my Real Estate License in a market that had also plummeted. Some thought I was crazy. God blessed me with clients and closings even in a market that had gone haywire. Aaron persisted moving forward and working hard in school. Chrysler returned to work and the Real Estate market became worse. I quickly learned to help those in need save their homes, sell their hems, or to be relieved of them through short sale when necessity dictated. God continued to bless our family with sales and semi return to normalcy at Chrysler as the economy grew worse and gas/food prices soared. Our second daughter met a wonderful man and we were blessed with yet a second wedding. Aaron continued to persist, earned his bachelors, masters, and moved into a salary position at Chrysler. Last year we watch home values climb in Howard County which was a huge blessing for everyone. This morning I am looking back on yesterdays article in the Kokomo Tribune about the Tipton Plant opening next month. Yesterday l listed 2 beautiful homes and can now say my combined residential and commercial listing numbers are higher than at any previous time. The Real Estate Market is making a comeback in Kokomo, IN and so is the Auto Industry. We are a BLESSED family and a BLESSED City! I am happy for the residents of Tipton County. Their blessing of the expansion of Chrysler is a blessing to all. Happy Friday!
