I received 97,504 votes in the 2012 general election against James - TopicsExpress

I received 97,504 votes in the 2012 general election against James Lankford. 97,504 votes is the most any Democratic Candidate for the fifth district has received in the past 22 years. It is the second most votes for any Democrat in CD5 in the past 40 years. We put together a winning coalition in 2012, and need approximately 97,000 (based on non-presidential turnout in recent years) to win this congressional seat in 2014. With the hard work we have put in during the past 13 months knocking doors, making personal phone calls, participating in 9 parades, and traveling extensively in the district, I have the best chance we have had in decades to win this seat. With your help and hard work we can make this happen. Thanks for your support and encouragement along the way. Lets do this! guildforcongress
