I received this information and thought I could share to WP residents who were affected by 2011 Sept flood ..... Trinity Episcopal Church 220 Montgomery Avenue West Pittston, PA 18643 August 30, 2013 Dear Neighbors, On behalf of the people of Trinity Episcopal Church, I would like to invite you to join us at a special event commemorating the anniversary of the 2011 flood. We know what a challenging time this has been for all our West Pittston neighbors and we are hosting this anniversary event to acknowledge all our neighbors have had to overcome and celebrate the ongoing resiliency of our community. This event will be held on Sunday, September 8, and will include a Mass at 11 a.m. followed at 12:30 by a free picnic lunch of pulled pork sandwiches, salad and more, including games for the kids, a little music and door prizes. Please extend our invitation to all affected by the flood of 2011. We hope many of our neighbors will be able to join us for all or any part of this event. It fine if neighbors want to stop by for the picnic that begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. We ask only for an RSVP with the name and number of people attending from each household, so that we can be sure to have plenty of food for everyone.
