I remember how blue the sky was & how crisp the air was that fateful day! After hearing the horrible news of the first lane that crashed into the World Trade Center, It seemed so surreal! How could such a tragedy happen on such a beautiful day?! Then then news of the remaining crashes were broadcasted & I lost all sight of that blue sky! Fear & great sorrow filled my heart as I watched the devastation unfold on TV! I kept thinking to myself, "Why? How could this happen?". Then my thoughts turned to all the people who were there & the agony their loved ones were going through! Wondering if they were trapped in the buildings or did they manage to get out. If so, where were they? Were they injured? So many lives lost! So much pain & suffering! Thank you does not seem nearly enough to say to all the police, firefighters, medical personnel & members of our Armed Forces who risked, & some sadly lost, their lives in this senseless tragedy! God bless all of them & God bless this nation! 9-11-01 I WILL NEVER FORGET!
