I remember this priest in Kherson who seemed to be a very kind, - TopicsExpress

I remember this priest in Kherson who seemed to be a very kind, humble man who loved God and cared deeply for his flock. From the article: His Eminence Damian Archbishop of Kherson and Tavricheski Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarch celebrates the day of his birth... a humble and magnamious priest/intercessor... ...In the beginning of my priestly formation Vladika told me When you are learning how to pray with your mind, don’t forget to learn how to pray with your heart.” (By the way, had to look up magnamious, sounded pretty important. Found out it was really a cool word...encompassing these synonyms: generous, charitable, benevolent, beneficent, big-hearted, handsome, princely, altruistic, philanthropic, unselfish, chivalrous, noble.) Sounds like an amazing man. Happy birthday. Поздравляю. Многие лета. Also...the first word in the Russian article is one of the reasons I love Russian...It has crazy big words!! Высокопреосвященнейший...22 letters! Definitely had to look this word too. I knew there were words high and sanctified in it...All together comes out to be Eminence, like His Eminence the Archbishop. Cool. Russian, you are classic! (I love trying to find the biggest words I can divide 4 into. I dont know why, but have done it since I learned to spell the word Encyclopedia, probably back in 5th grade...12 letters, 4-3 times, by the way. To this day still get a kick out of long words divisible by 4.)
