I said "I DO!" In a powerful service, me and my girls hung around to fellowship with the body of believers and the minister had a word that I received. She said "A man that finds a wife, finds a good thing". In many years past, I thought that to mean that when he finds me, I am his wife. When he finds me, I become his wife. When he finds me, I am his good thing that he will marry. I always thought it is a role that I position myself for so when the time comes, I can walk in it. Today, today, the word of God spoke differently. I AM A WIFE!!! The quality of a wife is up to me. We are all married to God as His bride. He says in His word, that wives submit to their husbands and a woman who is not married, is His. He is my Husband. When the quality of my being a wife suites what His son needs, then he will find me. It is the crazy things that God takes and turns into master pieces. As I read His word, I am reminded to re-read Prov. 31. I am commissioned to research literature about what His wife looks like so the quality of a Husband that He is in heaven can become a reality of the husband that I will have here on Earth. The husband that He wants to send must be Daddy approved (Prov. 6:20-25), a part of His will (Psalm 37:3-4), one of His sons- yes ladies it is an arranged marriage (2 Cor. 6:14), and pure in its nature (2 Tim. 2:22). So, do I desire marriage yes, but I am prepared as a wife- not adequately. I will take this time of singleness and motherhood, blend them well and prepare to be his wife by being His wife.
