I saw where somebody thought that John Wayne was one of the worst American actors. It kinda makes me think, if you think that, you just havent lived. Hope that earns me brownie points with Lynn who says I am too negative about America. As far as I am concerned he was one of the greats whether it was The Searchers, The Quiet Man, The Sons of Katie Elder, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, True Grit. The list goes on right up to his last, The Shootist. He might not be a Richard Burton, but then I cant see Burton with a six-gun at his waist jumping unto the back of a horse.
