I scored my first bootleg Agathocles shirt at Chopo. This place was awesome. Tons of little shops selling everything punk & metal, rockers walking around. I remember the walk from the subway to the swap there was this long line of punk kids leaning up against the wall huffing glue. There was music in the air, you could tell a band was playing live deeper within the market. There were these weird dudes in haazmat suits walking around passing out demos. Over on the other side was this huge selection of anarcho punk, crust, death metal, and a shit ton of pamphlets on DIY living / culture. It was a place ill never forget.
