I see all these posts about Autism Awareness month....and I am sorry it pisses me off. Why do we need to wait to April to make people aware. We should be making them aware every day. We should be focusing on helping those children and supporting those parents who give their lives to their children every day. The parents I know make it a daily focus to help their children and protect their kids, not just in April. The moms I know dedicate their lives and give up their own lives for their children. Lets praise them regularly and support them regularly, not just during the month of April. These months that are dedicated to support one thing or another are ridiculous. Why cant we support these things that are so sad on a daily basis. Lets try to be understanding year round and not just during one month or one day for all these illnesses.
