I see some UWP dishonorable and destitute villains referring to the Hon Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit as a dictator. I would just like to remind them of a few facts which I am sure they are aware of but choose to disregard in their quest to spread mischievous political propaganda. In a dictatorship all the UWP leaders and supporters who have openly, disrespectfully maligned, cursed, insulted, denigrated, slandered the name of the Prime Minister would have been in jail or executed. In a dictatorship the opposition party’s members of parliament could not refuse to attend the house of assembly for years and still get paid; then when they decide to show up, could not disrespect the speaker of the house as they do with their disruptive behavior and non compliance of house rules. In a dictatorship Lennox Linton would not dare call the President of the nation a “black country bookie”. In a dictatorship Q95 would not have the liberty to attack the government with their unproven, uncensored, irresponsible, unreliable and dishonest reporting every day. In a dictatorship Thomson Fontaine would have been swiftly court martialed for misappropriating and misrepresenting assets belonging to the state. In a dictatorship Norris Prevost would never be able to force his way into an official government ceremony without an invitation. In a dictatorship Lennox Linton would never dare charge the podium at a panel discussion when he was not assigned as one of the speakers. In a dictatorship Pat Aaron would not be able to condemn the Prime Minister and the government every year with his calypsos far less his singer winning the crown almost every year. In a dictatorship Dominica Source, Sheba Elie, Shirley Allan, Ambrose Blanc, Citizen Dominique, Gerald Williams, Hector John and all the other notorious UWP facebook war mongers would not be able to spread all these messages of hate, divisiveness and dissent. So my friends enjoy and appreciate your democracy!
