I see two problems here. First, you have the obvious issue with the store clerk but secondly and probably more important is the response and way the young men handled the issue. I wish OUR YOUNG PEOPLE would learn that you cannot combat ignorance with ignorance. Neither can you fight or respond with aggression or vulgarity. Notice all the yelling and cursing the young men did wrought them no results. The older lady used INTELLIGENCE and ACCOUNTABILITY to handle the situation (informing them that an official complaint would be filed), and she got immediate results. Yes she used a firm and strong tone but she demonstrated dignity and pose. No matter how ignorant and bias the store clerks may have been the truth of the matter is what is even more sad is that our young men were not properly equipped to handle the situation like rational and education citizens. We as a people still have a LONG ways to go, but it starts with education. Just because the world wants to act a fool doesnt mean you get out there and act a fool with them. Be BIGGER, Be BETTER, Be GREATER!
