I seek fun, discourse, poetry, art, literature, music, and a bit of philosophy, but not too much. I think philosophers can often be too hidebound and reactionary. Their love of knowledge can sometimes become little more than a distillation of their romantic notions about their romantic notions. Dogma sucks, no matter who spouts it. I seek mutual and pleasurable exchange of energy. I like to be challenged. Intellectually and artistically. I like learning. I also like people that I am intimate with to be responsive. I give a lot. I expect a lot. I also expect friends to be loyal, and not to wish to hide their friendship with me. These are the terms of my friendship. Of most friendships, I presume. Is this unreasonable? No. I know it isnt.
