I sent the following letter to the website of: Animal Welfare Board of India, Chennai chapter awbi.org June 25, 2014 Kilpauk, Chennai My housing Society, Alankar Apartment Housing Cooperative, Kilpauk is preventing a senior female street dog, BRIN, from accompanying me to my flat, for meals and sleep ovenight. Brin is a close friend of another STREET DOG I rescued, BigBoyBo, while he was still an abandoned puppy. BBB is now 2 years old. He is also harassed by 2 flat owners BRIN, the female senior dog has been abandoned by the family whose premises she guarded for 8 years She is starving as no one on my street is committed to feed her. One Building society member Mr. S. Mohan chased after Brin with a brick and she had run away to escape stoning. Another housing society member, Fat Khanna attacked Brin with a stick but she managed to escape his blows. This inhumane treatment of a wonderful canine who has lived on my street for many years is appalling and intolerable. Q. What can I do right now to protect Brins rights? Q. What can I do right now to protect my human right to nurture and provide essential care for Brin?
