I seriously cant stress enough the importance of NOT judging your progress by what the scale says. The scale is not a know all, end all thing that can accurately tell you all the changes going on with your body, especially when you first start a new healthy lifestyle or exercise routine. It cant tell you about the muscle that youre building, or differentiate between extra food and water in your system versus fat, or how your clothes are starting to fit better, or how many more reps you can do of a certain exercise from last week, or how much better you FEEL by fueling your body with the good stuff and moving....and it certainly cant tell you about that beautiful happy glow youve got goin on that gorgeous face of yours. If youre getting in just 30 minutes a day of effective exercise, eating good food -and plenty of it- sleeping enough, and staying hydrated with lots of water, it is IMPOSSIBLE for your body to not change. Focus on the non-scale victories of what IS changing, and the number on the scale will catch up and take care of itself. Love your body enough to give it time to adjust to all the changes taking place....and above all, STAY OFF THE SCALE!
