I share this article despite recognizing quite a few methodological problems with this approach that equates the issue of endemic corruption in the economies of the Global South and the undemocratic and sometimes outright kleptocratic global governance model dominated by Western powers and corporations. At the same time the fundamental issue is rightly exposed by Jason Hickel the LSE lecturer that authored the article. One has to be reminded by such articles that LSE used to be a progressive oasis in London challenging the status quo.
