I simply dont get how people can get angry at places like the Big Cat Rescue. They are pretty transparent about the care they provide, which is fantastic by the way. Ive seen complaints about how small their enclosures are, but they are totally glossing over the fact that these cats came from terrible situations. For the amount of space they get, it seems they are pretty damn happy. I think they have taken on a great undertaking that is easy for others to criticize when they do not take everything into consideration. The most important thing being that these cats were not raised in the wild, as they are usually sold when they are babies. Therefore they cannot live in the wild — ever. They would not survive on their own because they rely on human intervention. And that is why places like this are necessary, and BCR specifically does a great job with their enrichment programs and healthcare. These abused and abandoned cats get to the live out the rest of their lives in a place that cares about them, and that is wonderful. bigcatrescue.org/
