I sit here this evening admiring the beauty of the Christmas - TopicsExpress

I sit here this evening admiring the beauty of the Christmas lights in my house. Im looking at the Nativity display feeling thankful that my brother, who fell off a ladder yesterday and broke his wrist and fractured two vertebrae, is alive, not paralyzed and will recover (slowly). Im feeling love for my family that grows abundantly hour to hour, day to day, year to year. I have tears in my eyes and a smile on my face at the same time as I reflect on my days at Orthopaedics NorthEast (ONE) as I will walk through the doors as part of that family for one more time tomorrow. I have NEVER worked at a place where I can honestly say that I truly love all of my coworkers. It is something that you would have to experience yourself to understand. I have learned so much from our outstanding physicians, PAs, NPs, therapists, cast techs, ATCs...the list goes on and on! Everyone has been so helpful to me, I have nothing but fond memories of my years spent there. That being said, the long drive to and from work has prevented me from being at home as much as I need to be. I was faced with a very tough decision. My wife and boys will always be my first priority until I die. I will be returning to the Heritage on 3rd shift so I will be able to be home during the day and evening with my family while my wife continues to work in Fort Wayne. I will forever be grateful to ONE for the opportunity given to me and will cherish the friendships I gained there forever! Peace and love yall...Ill never forget any of you!
