I spent almost 10 years of my life working with people in the US. Many in law enforcement, the military or the government. I think we sometimes get wrapped up in not being American as Canadians and comparing our two countries. However where and when it matters, beyond the rhetoric of politics, they have our back. Im pretty proud and thankful of our buddies to the south.
