I spoke to Karsyns school and we are in the process of filling out an application for homebound services since she wont be there very regularly for the next few months:( The cool thing is that they will assign someone to come here and make sure she stays caught up in school. Everything is just becoming more and more real, life is going to change that is for sure! And I am dreading the day her hair starts falling out, we have talked to her about it and in true Karsyn fashion she just said, Thats ok, I can wear all kinds of cool hats. Strongest girl I know. Just one day at a time, which is much easier said than done. She will start with 3 months of chemo and then more of a maintenance phase, her treatment will last close to 2 years. Its overwhelming to think about. Keep the prayers coming, we so appreciate them. I cant even begin to say thank you for all of the cards, texts, emails, messages, food, help with kids, help with the dog, etc, etc, etc... We have meals coming every other day until March, which is a huge blessing. There are so many good and caring people surrounding us!!!
