I stayed up last night til 3am spellbound by the Bounce special that chronicles Martin Luther Kings history of civil rights marches, arrests, from Montgomery to Memphis where he was assassinated, to the boycotts, the Nobel Prize, the horrible attacks in Chicago, countless attacks and hardships as well as stories about the many priests and nuns who were savagely beaten, some fatally as they protected MLK during marches, all these never footages of MLK in a non-fictionalized account. Truly this man died fulfilling his mission. The dignitaries, Presidents, Popes, leaders and stars who marched with him-Paul Newman, Tony Bennett, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Mahalia Jackson, Nina Simone, Jackie Onassis, Sammy Davis, Charleston Heston, Jewish leaders, all groups! Check BOUNCE TV out for the next showing. It is worth every hour of missed rest.
