I think I have discovered a scientific breakthrough. My brother and I were talking about how the body heals, through heat. Enzymes speed up the healing process by creating heat and encourages cell regrowth. Then I thought: heat supports life. The reason why our planet is the only source of life in our solar system is because we are the perfect distance from the sun to sustain life: not too hot and not too cold. That being said, there is my proof that life can exist in other parts of the universe. If the planet contains hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon and is at a certain distance from the nearest star (and depending on the strength of that stars radiation), life can exist and be sustained. Maybe if we find out how to travel that far, when the majority of earths population destroys the planet, some of the smart people can escape and re-colonize on another planet. I feel so creative today. :)
