I think I have finally calmed down enough to relate to yall what I experienced yesterday. We are in Tampa for the Clemson bowl game and to spend some time with my sister and her family. Matt, Becca, Michelle and I went to the mall to do some exchanges and shop. International Mall is a very upscale mall. As we were having lunch, people started running and screaming and yelling get out get out!!!! We then heard what we believe was a gunshot. Matt said lets go and we came out of our booth to evacuate. As I was trying to get out, I fell. People were running all over me and when I got up they knocked me over again!! Finally got to the outside and Matt had to help us get over a metal fence about waist high. .[thats a major ordeal for me]. We left all our belongings inside so we had to stay in the parking lot, hiding behind cars, for about an hour. All I could think of was the mall shootings that have been happening recently. Thank The Lord we are ok!! I am bruised and very sore but thankful to be alive!! There were no injuries. It was a smash and grab at a very high end jewelry store. I know this is long but wanted to say that we never know what day might me our last!! Live life to the fullest!!!
