Welcome to all of our new LNPB Villagers! As you follow our journey down a road less traveled make no mistake that you will cry at times, however you will also smile and laugh, you will shed tears of joy as well as sadness but most importantly you will realize that as a part of the LNPB Village, you are never alone. We are people helping people helping paws and together we make the impossible possible and we move that unmovable mountain. Together, day in and day out, we save lives. LNPB specializes in seniors and those with special medical needs. Due to the nature of our rescues,and the fact that we do not hesitate to rescue those that are considered terminal, there are times when we have to say a loving good bye as we hold them in our arms and gently guide them across the Bridge. We cannot bear the thought of any loving animal dying on a cold shelter floor, alone and wondering. You will also witness the wonderful transformation of "new life" of the ones who could not walk, stand and had given up, as they realize that they have been given the promise of tomorrow and that their life matters. Here at LNPB our mission is to give the gift of life to those who have lost all hope and even if it just for an hour, a day, a week or many months, they all come to know kindness, tenderness, a day in the sun and most importantly, love. Though they have been betrayed and discarded by the only humans they ever loved, here at LNPB, from the moment we pull them to safety, they know that their life matters....
