I think I might actually start believing in God. Being an agnostic atheist who believes in the universe and its indifference towards everyone and everything has served me well throughout the latter part of my life...but it takes a rare kind of cruel - one that only a conscious entity would be capable of - to first present me with the best seat in a coffee place only to, within a couple of minutes, plomp a couple at the table beside me who smell of geriatrics and gingivitis, and order half the menu to be brought over. My only hope of getting them to move now is by grinding my ass along the leathery cushion of my seat to convince them I am phenomenally flatulent. God, I will see your challenge and raise you my magic tricks of sphincter and sound.
