I think Ive finally won the long battle against Helicobacteria - TopicsExpress

I think Ive finally won the long battle against Helicobacteria Pylori. For a good portion of this year I have made numerous beelines to two medical facilities of repute, one has Green as its corporate colour while the other has Red buts not Aga Khan. Each time I left with the same diagnosis and same medication for Food Poisoning. I decided to try a new facility at Nakumatt Lifestyle. Anyone whos been to the two other facilities would get the same culture shock as I did. Everything is analog; medical records are paper kept, the thermometer is not the gun type, its the old mercury in glass that you shake vigorously to reset; no free WiFi; the gents for stool sample is a public toilet that you pay as you use and its outside infront of the supermarket. As others pushed their shopping carts around, you smuggled your Brown paper bag along. Despite the challenges, this is where I met Doctors who wanted to pursue something else other than food poisoning something outside the routine. My furniture was tested for and comfirmed to have the H-Pylori bacteria! Am on the final kit and Ive seen my first hard one in months! Now the digital facilities that had digital record keeping could not have automated patient history that points to them how many times Ive been treated for the same symptoms so that they would try new treatment regimes?! Be not afraid to ask questions. Some of these esteemed facilities are just bogus. I have been misdiagnosed every fortnight since April!
