I think after last night, Nelson McCoy and I both feel the very same way about Unf Iotas. As alumni from UNF, I met Nelson in 2008 days after graduating college. My entire college career there were no Iotas at UNF... and coming from a blue and white home, I knew nothing about them. But to go from a a GDI to an interest and have to wait 2008 and 2009 to finally make it here always gave me a sense of purpose coming into the org. Now when I finally came through in spring 2010, through Gamma Mu Omega, it was one of the great privileges of my life. And to cross and probate on the SAME DAY with the likes of the charter UNF line, the comeback ZK line... man its a privilege. Being a recognizable figure to come out of UNF people identify me with the chapter early on and Ive always been proud about that, but after last night I have to say I have a tremendous amount of respect for the work Hal Gray, Mark Harris, Brian Calhoun and MY NEO Greg Berry put in. I love yall boys.... hard headed ass niggas, but the accomplishment of last night gives me, and Im sure Nelson too, comfort that the ship is on course. Theres not a person walking this earth more proud of you guys than me... except for maybe the person whos responsible for making me and UNF... congrats undergrads... #niggayoumadeit!!!!
