I think its important to have positive role-models to look up to, because while it is helpful to read, it can be be hard to wrap your head around a concept without actually *seeing* it in action. Buffy Summers is my biggest hero, because no matter how shitty her circumstances might be, she always finds a way to beat the bad guy (while trying to deal with her personal life in the process). I have a friend writing a new post called, 10 Things Buffy The Vampire Slayer Taught Me About Mental Strength, that will be published on my blog very soon. Is that something youd like to read? :)
