I think its really frustrating that every single media outlet reported on Robin Williams death as an apparent suicide even though an investigation hadnt even taken place yet. How do we know he didnt just drink too much, or take some pills without the intention of killing himself? Everyone is jumping to the conclusion that he killed himself just because he has depression. I have depression, and Im sill here, but if I was found dead in my apartment I would sure as shit hope that everyone didnt just assume I took my own life. Im sure it probably was a suicide, but why just come out and say that right off the bat without knowing for sure? Even if there was evidence of a suicide, youd think that would be something the sheriffs department and anyone on the scene would keep quiet until an investigation was at least underway, just out of respect. What if he didnt kill himself? Is that how he would want to be remembered? I think its kinda insulting and disrespectful to just assume he was weak and snuffed himself out. Am I being ridiculous or does anyone else think thats kinda bullshit?
