I think its time to clarify some thoughts about me ;) As an independent drummer, I dont belong to any band, and specially now. People who have been asking me news about my main band so far (useless to mention its name), may call it done if they are gentle enough. The fact people immediately associate my name to a particular band might be one of the reasons why I slowed down those last few years regarding gigs/tours. Ive been told many times that some artists wouldnt contact me because they were sure I was busy, already playing for that band, or in studio for endless years. This is WRONG ;) As you can guess, rumors spread very fast on social networks,... and its sometimes hard to remove them :) The truth is that Ive been through different steps in my life, like studying sound engineering/recording, teaching a lot and working on the instructional side of drums and right now Im finishing to edit my DVD. But of course, Im available, and Im missing tours ! Second thing is that Im pictured as a death metal drummer. Well Im actually spending more time to work on groove/chops, than playing blast beats. I love death metal as much as I love jazz fusion, funky chops, or any modern djent bossa nova, classical acoustic grind core, experimental thrash opera,... Band gigs, solo artists tours, from anywhere, its always a pleasure to share music with you guys !
