I think that after we abolish the wage system and establish common ownership of the collective product of our labour that well still have to work i.e. work will still be a necessity. The difference will be that we will decide how long to work and what we need to produce. We will not need to commodify the product of our labour. Instead, we shall plan what we need and distribute the wealth we produce on the basis of need. The political State wont be necessary because the existence of the State is tied to the existence of classes and common ownership of the collective product of labour precludes the existence of classes. Still, it will be necessary for us to decide what is acceptable and what is unacceptable behaviour e.g. murder is still a crime while property crime, e.g. stealing patents, virtually disappears. Well also have to live in harmony with the natural world--after all, were part of it. The Earth is our home; it is not a commodity.
