Kas Art Exhibition is an idea to utilize creative arts in bringing something quite unique to the communities. Based on the fundamental belief that young ones and artists are given opportunity and there is a potentiality that enormous talent can be unleashed. This is a story of feeding, treasuring skills within the community and starts to educate artists, how they can fuse visual and performing art to produce a new vocabulary within art fraternity This project is operating in five provinces: Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, Free State and Limpopo under the theme “creating art for hope”. The initial plan with this project is to foster stronger collaborations, push boundaries in the platform of contemporary Art, exploring different possibilities without limitation in art creations, and freedom of expression. It is an exciting journey of research, discovery, creation, and transformation of Art to relate, reflect and address the social illnesses we faced in our communities. It also focuses on creating a dialogue between artists & community.
