I think that kawaii in Manila 2 became a huge social media success. We only had a website and some facebook pages. We didnt go all out with the usual advertising and yet surprisingly, people heard about this movement / community / platform. To all the influencers who contributed by spreading the word around, thank you for the initiative. ^_^ And to the folks who just wanted to be part of Kawaii.PH even if we could not offer at that time any compensation and just an opportunity to shine ( shout out to our talented 20 + artists, 15+ performers and 60+ models, kawaii girl and ikemen guy applicants, etc.), thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Salamat po sa kusa niyo :-) Up to this point, the kawaii fever is still hot and whenever I browse the hashtag or come across photo albums and blog entries and all those encouraging comments, I cannot help but feel ridiculously happy! Ahhhhh Its amazing how this community / creative collective has caused kawaii disruption by promoting this culture / movement in another out of this world / deeper sense. Change the world with kawaii? Hmmm.. Why not? If it can change a person like me (who would rather be a behind the scenes person) to a person wanting to spread positivity and good vibes through cuteness by forgetting about being shy and putting myself out there, I believe that fellow empowered people can do the same. ^_^ Thank you for supporting kim2, until the next fun convention! #KawaiiInManila3
