I think these two sentences are the most important two sentences - TopicsExpress

I think these two sentences are the most important two sentences in the entire Declaration of Independence. What America has suffered since George W Bush took office has been inexcusable. Not only because we allowed it to happen, but have continued to allow it to happen 13 years later. Read it, think about it and remember what we need to do in the next elections. Anyone, of any political party that is not willing to work FOR THE PEOPLE needs to go. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.-- Our Despotism is our United States House of Representatives, and to a lesser degree, our Senate.
