And he didnt forget that NFL analyst Cris Carter -- a Hall of Fame receiver, mind you -- hadnt been impressed with Seattle entering the game. Carter called the Seahawks receiving corps appetizers, and that there was no main course. That apparently didnt sit well with Baldwin. OK, yall listen to me loud and clear, Baldwin said in his postgame news conference. Yall listening? Yall hear me? For all yall who called us, the receiving corps, average, pedestrian, appetizers -- Im not going to say any names, but he knows who he is -- I respect what you did on the field, but stick to playing football, because your analytical skills aint up to par yet. You need to slow down and go back and not do it half-assed and put some effort into it, because youre saying some stuff that didnt really make sense. And then Baldwin put together his own main course of trash talk. That dude [Carter] who said that we were appetizers, he told me to Google him, and I did Google him, but I didnt see any Super Bowl appearances, and I also saw two losses in conference championships, Baldwin said. I have a Super Bowl ring, and I would gladly show that to him. And if he doesnt have time to come see it, tell him he can Google it. Thats quite a way to get in the last word.
