I thought I had one more but as it turns out, after four and a half years of struggle, and trying and failing and falling and growing, I just had my final probation meeting. I dont know if I can really express how momentous this is for me. Its exciting and in a very strange way, a bit scary. Ive known my PO for longer than most of my friends and she was often there for me to discuss problems and life events or encourage me when I was depressed. I also want to thank all the wonderful people in my life who supported me or gave me 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances, namely my parents who never gave up on me, Franca Carella and Vitanova Foundation who kept taking me in and helping me grow, the Boehmer and Yeung families who always somehow saw good in me in dark times, both both Wallace families, the Vamvakases and the Shermans who all prayed for me throughout my journey and also acted as supports to my parents. Gillian Waters who has always been the greatest role model, and her marriage with Emily Waters which has shown me how people should care about each other. Tara Paige, Amelia Pipher and Traci, though each in separate ways, you three have always stuck around to believe in me despite all reasoning to the contrary at the time and that speaks volumes of each of your character. I will never be able to name all the people who played a role in making my life what it is today instead of what it could have been so Im sorry if I missed your name but I am grateful to you as well. Thank you all so much!
