I thought I would repost this for the morning folks. - Dan. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective August 1, OVWA region pages will be transitioning into new areas. We will have revised maps coming in the next few days, but here is a quick summary of the changes we are making and what you need to do to make sure you continue to receive localized information relevant to your area. ALL of Illinois will now be covered in OVWA Region 1 (facebook/OVWAReg1). IN counties in Region 1 will move to Region 2 and KY counties will move to Region 3. Coverage for MO counties will be discontinued with the exception of Tornado Warnings ONLY for St. Louis City and County. ALL of Indiana will now be covered in OVWA Region 2 (facebook/OVWAReg2). IL counties in Region 2 will move to Region 1. ALL of Kentucky will now be covered in OVWA Region 3 (facebook/OVWAReg3). IN counties in Region 3 will move to Region 2 and OH counties will move to Region 4. ALL of Ohio will now be covered in OVWA Region 4 (facebook/OVWAreg4). PA and WV county coverage will be discontinued. OVWA Region 5 will be eliminated. Coverage for KY counties in Region 5 will switch to Region 3 and OH counties will switch to Region 4. TN, VA and WV coverage will be discontinued. Please make sure you LIKE the correct new region page for your area prior to August 1 to make sure you continue to receive information relevant to your area. On the main page (this page) we will be adding Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Watch products to our automated alerts. These watch products will refer you to the individual region pages applicable for that watch, where additional coverage such as radar updates and specific county outlines for the watch will be posted. Also on this page, Tornado Warnings for several major cities in our coverage area will be automatically posted. Again, these will refer you to the appropriate region page for that city for additional updates. These are a few of the changes we are making to help provide better coverage and localized information to our fans. Thank you for your continued support of OVWA.
