I thought about deactivating Facebook for a bit, due to all of the negativity on here, it is just a bit much. Then I thought about it. Im not going to give any people power over me and my life that dont deserve it. Here it goes, plain and simple. You state anything negative about any branch of law enforcement, you will be deleted. If it pops up in my news feed that you support the killing of the officers in Brooklyn, you will be deleted. If you support terrorists, yes terrorists, as in the man that drove from Maryland to Brooklyn just to kill two officers to prove his point, you will be deleted. There are enough extremists in other countries, we dont need people within our own country attacking one another. By the way, to all you gun control advocates, Im sure those officers were killed with a completely legal and registered weapon (smh). Whether you agree or disagree with the way Michael Brown and Eric Garner were treated is none of my concern. Killing innocent people is NEVER going to be the answer, even if it is in retaliation. For all of those hating on law enforcement personnel, who do you call when youre in an accident? Who do you call when someone breaks into your house? Who do you call when your significant other is abusing you? Who do you call when drug dealers are in your neighborhood cooking and selling? Who do you call to investigate when your love ones go missing or worse are murdered?! Im not saying there arent officers out there who abuse power, but the good really do out weigh the bad. I dont know anyone else who is putting their life on the line, literally and even more so lately, everyday besides our military personnel. To all of my friends and family with a badge, I love you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish you safe shifts through this craziness and every other day. Officers Wenjian Lu and Rafael Ramos rest in peace. To the families of those two men my heart breaks for you and I hope you find some peace this holiday season. To anyone else offended by this please feel free to delete yourself.
