I thought about what I wrote yesterday about life and sport. I - TopicsExpress

I thought about what I wrote yesterday about life and sport. I asked myself have I accepted my losses. Have I accepted that I would have had more wins in life if I did things differently. I stood there quietly and looked at myself. Saw every issue. Every blemish. Every scar. My Rick Ross belly. My moles. I saw my mind with all its wrinkles. I saw my heart with all its bandages, scars, locks, pain, anguish. I saw regrets. I saw woulda coulda shoulda. And I stood there for a second and I can admit I became tired. I felt drained. I felt like I didnt want to go on for that split second. And then with a sharp turn, I stood there and realized a man was looking back at me. A man standing. Not on his knees. Not crawling on the floor. But a man who no matter how many times he fought and loss. No matter how many times his heart was taken advantage of. No matter how many times hes gone through hell. He still could look at himself in the mirror. Because he knows hes not perfect and he knows hes done wrong as well. But the mirror never reflected a man with devilish ways. The mirror reflected an angel living a human experience. I am thankful for all who has played a part in my development.
