I thought on a whole Bafana played pretty well against a top seeded Algeria, I believe we have the same continuos problems in our play though, too much unnecessary ball possession given away, I think Furman was a bit off the pace last night and uncharacteristically gave away too much possession with stray long passes, you cannot do this as a central midfielder. I believe our forwards had no composure in front of goal and didnt get behind the defense enough times, when they did on the odd occasion, they looked dangerous. Missing the penalty changed the outcome of the game completely, at 2-0 up, it would have been game over. Our defense was bad in the second half, as well as the keeper which is unfortunate as I thought Keet had a good first half. It is unfortunate we lost, but all these problems we have, lack of composure, bad first touch, lack of technical ability, lack of movement off the ball, not keeping possession, not going with the runner off the ball, should not be happening at international level, but they are, and in my humble opinion as I have said before, stems from a lack of technical development in our country, unfortunately all the tricks in the world do not win games!!!
