I thought the movie was mediocre but I really liked the main theme Hans Zimmer created. I think more movies should stick to these kinds of iconic, orchestrated themes like the older movies used to. Im already mad that Man of Steel ditched Jerry Goldsmiths superman theme, the Dark Knight trilogy did a good job of keeping an iconic theme going. I think when youre a film soundtrack composer and youre given a big film that you know will be a franchise, its very important to make a theme for it that can be used alot and that is iconic.
