I transferred out of Kaiser so that Michael would be seen by Dr. Gary Steinberg. A renown Neurosurgeon at Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital Stanford. There he underwent another MRI under anesthesia. It would be become Michaels Norm. The decision was the best counsel I received from Michaels Pediatrician. A man I Loved, but who loved my son so much to refer Michael to another venue at LPCH. We all knew there were very few neurosurgeons who were knowledgeable enough to monitor Michaels rare incurable illness, Cerebral Cavernous Malformation! Dr. Steinberg was one of the only Neurosurgeons on the west coast who would eventually with his God guided hands, 7 years later would help to save Michaels Life. I was already so disheartened as Michael now had four lesions, bleeds within his small brain!
