I try not to cuss, but when things crush my heart, bad words tend to fly out, and tonight, reading through reader emails from farmers, moms of triplets, grandparents and others fighting cancer, EoE, autism and other conditions, that happened. Monsanto can capture the regulators, capture the science and capture the press. But they can not capture the will of a parent fighting for the life of his or her child. A food system dependent on chemicals is not a food system, its a chemical system. What you can do (pick one!): Contact your local representative. It matters. house.gov/representatives/find/ Contact your local grocery store and ask for more non GMO and organic food. Contact the American Farm Bureau. Farmers have been told this is a fad. Cancer, autism and food allergies are not fads. Let them know we need them on the team. fb.org/ Contact Kellogg, General Mills, Kraft and other companies who are entrenched in this chemically intensive operating system and tell them its time to change.
