I try to keep everything I say on Facebook positive. BUT... The fact that 30 years ago schools were doing drills that prepared students for a nuclear attack, and then we adopted a best buddy relationship with Russia blows my mind... Furthermore, the fact that that the word communist was considered a horrible term that brought fear to so many, and now the largest (and most powerful) communist regime in history is our biggest lender, blows my mind! Many of the men and women who write our legislation probably remember the sound of a siren and crawling under a desk... Now our military is in a budget crisis, and our government is struggling to fund our milliary, which by the way is one of their key responsibilities... And regardless of anyones belief this has to be because we have spent more money than we should have on other things... The two major political parties blame each other, and no one seems to have a real answer, and we base our decisions to vote on social issues that SHOULDNT have anything to do with the federal government... Does this bother anyone else? Because it frustrates me. I pray that God blesses America, but we have to realize that God gives us the free will to make decisions. What our country does today will certainly have an impact on our future. I pray that God will give wisdom to those we have elected to serve us.
