I understand that death is a horrible thing and losing people in whatever manner before their time is awful. However, lets get 1 thing straight WA. Sharks are not the big problem or A big problem when it comes to deaths in WA. Sharks have killed 11 people across the WA coastline since 2010. Not even 1 a year. However 144 people have died just this year in car accidents. Where is the huge outcry about these deaths? Why does the media cry out for the shark to die when 1 person dies a year, but the same publicity is not seen for road deaths? Hunting the animal down and killing it is not the answer. Prevention is the answer. Research. However, we are not living on this planet alone people. Lets focus the most time and energy on the biggest killers of human lives. Namely ourselves. Humans kill themselves more often with bad health and driving, just to name 2. We are the biggest killers of ourselves. Lets fix ourselves first instead of going out there and killing the less responsible members of our planet. Killing that one shark (if it is even the right one), will not bring that person back.
