I understand the point this video is trying to make. The thing is that the marginalized contestants should have been critical enough to disregard the unfair obstacles from the beginning (especially since it was Garret Morgan who invented the traffic signal anyway lol). The marginalized contestants should have changed lanes to avoid obstacles and disobeyed where others were being unfair against them. If others were creating obstacles against them, then they should have created obstacles against their competitors also and turned the whole track into an obstacle course long ago if others refused to play fair. Essentially, if black people were stupid enough to obey all the rules while others were being unfair against them, then thats our fault that we werent critical thinking enough to know better than to be so naive and passive while others are hostile against us. Not only that, but, another big issue I have with this video is that it starts at 1492 A.C.E. of the Gregorian Calendar. But, when we go back further about 4-5 millennium or so from that time, the available evidence indicates that the black man was not only way ahead of others, the black man was apparently the first man on earth, thus, he was ahead of everyone because others apparently didnt even exist yet. So, the black man shouldnt have been behind the white man whos apparently the more recent variety of man on the planet. The oldest scientific documents (mathematics, medicine, etc...) are from the Nile Valley of Africa. Some of the oldest (if not the oldest) advanced and still celebrated civilizations on the planet are of the Nile Valley -- and those African civilizations are coveted by non-Africans till this day to such a degree that certain non-Africans have tried to claim them as their own and have jumped through all kinds of hoops to attempt to convince others of their distortions of African history. So, the black man had a great start. And as far as opportunities are concerned, the Near-Eastern environment has been essentially a desert for a very VERY long time while the European environment was significantly cold in many of its regions. On the other hand, the African environment was essentially a tropical paradise in a number of its regions with at least three major rivers which still exist today -- at least two of which were considered sacred while one of them (the Niger is still associated with the orisha-goddess Oya till this day), plenty of trees, large deposits of mineral resources to invent all the modern technology we see today if wed applied ourselves to experimenting with our own resources right there under our feet. A Kemetic/Ancient Egyptian name for at least some region/s of the tropical African interior was Ta-Neter or To-Nuter (the Land God). Therefore, the black man was shown favor by being placed in a land (Africa) so pleasant that it was associated with God while the Near-East and Europe were clearly far less desirable environments at least climatically -- a land so pleasant and rich that its long been coveted by non-Africans whove long colonized it and are exploiting its resources while the black man is doing little to almost nothing with them to the empowerment of blacks collectively. So, the black/African also had thousands of years of opportunities and plenty of wealth right there under their own feet to anything they wanted to with it just like non-Africans are doing with African resources today. But, apparently we didnt for some reason and here we are today and whats our excuse? Is it that the white man is just more smarter/clever than blacks as one alleged conscious Kemetic brother implied to me in my inbox the other day after he unfriended me? If so, then can we blame others for exploiting our stupidity/ignorance/foolishness just like most of us would do with any fool today ourselves? If so, isnt that essentially a confession of alleged white inherent intellectual/cognitive superiority just as white supremacists are known to assert? The thing is that even they know that were not intellectually/cognitively inferior to them as evidenced by the fact that they made/make efforts to restrict us from information and education so that we dont catch up. Still, we have to come together with ourselves to overcome obstacles and establish as well as protect/secure our own educational institutions that we establish ourselves if others marginalize us from theirs. We have to think critically.
